Yesterday I went to pick up my husband’s prescription and was told not clearing insurance but maybe RX coupon could help if I wanted to pay. It was for Ambian so no rush but if I have to pay I’d take any discount over paying 60 dollars!

GoodRx website or app. Pull it up on your phone and they’ll type in the numbers. Depending on the pharmacy, you have to ask them to bill GoodRx every time because it costs them money each time they bill to them.

Check Mark Cubans cost plus pharmacy on line price. They don’t have every medication but what they do have is much cheaper than going through regular pharmacy.

I would start with a simple google search. You can also go to GoodRx, they may have some discounts, but at a minimum they can direct you to a pharmacy that may charge less.

I used to work for both CVS and Walgreens. Corporate tells the techs not to offer coupons (unless they’re from a manufacturer) because the company does not get reimbursed from said coupon company. Example – when GoodRx is used, the company loses out on that money.

Good technicians will always ask if you have a coupon or ask you to look one up because we don’t care if they lose out on money as bad as that may sound. I personally cared about the patient, unless you were yelling at me and wouldn’t let me get a word in.

Then I couldn’t tell you about any options.
