My partner wants to buy us a robot hoover as I have mobility problems and he wants to make life easier for me!

My question is, we don’t really want to spend as much as a roomba costs but are apprehensive about cheaper brands as we have 6 cats and I shed a lot of hair.

Can anyone recommend a robot hoover that is great on pet hair, rugs, carpets and hard floors and a reasonable price?

      Many thanks in advance!

I have 2 cheaper ones, I think you get what you pay for. I think the more expensive ones do a better job. Friends of ours have one & they have programmed it. It comes out of its charger twice a day, cleans then returns to its charger.

Be careful if you’ve got cats, I’ve seen horror stories where cats have missed the litter tray and the vacuum has smeared it all over the carpet!

I have a eufy hybrid in hindsight I wish I had gone for a different model , I knew full well that it stated for hard floors but fancied one that mopped too so thought I would give it a go. It does definitely pick up off the floor including cat litter & cat biscuits lol but you do have to prep the room first, especially if you’re likely to leave it to it, mine gets caught under my dining chairs & can’t get out for instance. I feel frustrated watching it at times as it’s starts off going up & down but will hit & corner & go off route, missing bits, in time it will generally go back & get it but I always think I could do it quicker lol.

I’m hoping I benefit from it now I have gone back to work after months at home but I wouldn’t of bothered with the mop function as I would hope the suction would be better on just the hoover x

We have a eufy robo vac and it’s great. I love it for getting under beds and low down furniture that I can’t normally be bothered to reach under lol
