Good evening ladies and gents – so I’m after a Hoover that’s lightweight cordless and handheld not a drag across the floor if that makes sence.

I’ve recently had a operation on my wrist and hoovering is very tricky can’t get up and down the stairs with my current hoover.

I have both carpet and laminate and not looking to spend a fortune more after a bargin.

      Thanks everyone

If you want a great make that’s not expensive like some I would go with Vax.

I use an Akita one at work, it’s so light and easy to manoeuvre and does the job in the office.

Best little Hoover I have is a 34 pound cylinder from b an m it’s really light and has brilliant power it’s never let me down and I have had it for about 6 years now.

The make is Goodmans not the most well knoo ok w but I would recommend it.

I have arthritis in my hands and shoulder. Dyson is light weight, and I can use that no probs.

Not dyson or shark they will hurt your wrist even more and are expensive and need loads of maintenance most of the cordless ones will be heavy cos of the battery… but cecotec are really good if it must be a cordless.. but whatever make you decide make sure you get one with an on off button that doesn’t have to have constant contact otherwise this can hurt even a strong wrist hope that’s helpful as a professional cleaner I’ve tried out most vacuums and prefer the pull along henry types over anything look at henry miele or sebo if you cannot get cecotec.
