Kathryn
– this fall when he returns from deployment overseas.
What would you consider an appropriate celebration?
Need some ideas.
ErinCongratulations! That would be *AMAZING*. I finished BS2-3 while deployed. I would absolutely go ALL-OUT on your post-deployment vacation, either with the kids (if you have them) or an adults only trip. Big Disney trip and stay on property at a fancy hotel or a Disney cruise with the kids, or do an all-inclusive splurge for the two of you.
TracyTwo suggestions: 1. Have a photoshoot at your hours and get some pictures taken, with your your hubby and kids (if you have them). Photos could include: bare feet in the grass with toes pointing together, a photo of your house from the street with you and the family on the front porch, etc. Put in a frame, and have a favorite quote or Bible verse with it. (A favorite of mine is by Einstein: “Rejoice with your family in the beautiful land of life.” Hang in your home in a big collage frame.
2. Take a trip someplace! It doesn’t need to be someplace fancy-schmancy, but if it’s just you and hubby, it could be someplace romantic/relaxing, or if you have kids, someplace with “kid fun” available.
