For submitting for the Chase Sapphire Business Ink, what do people put for the type of business when you don’t have one yet but have a plan?
I was thinking a digital media type business to construct and choose Sole Proprietorship and got rejected.
How do we move it forward?
DrikaI put sole proprietorship and signed up for EIN. My business is in real estate (of which I just started taking more seriously).
I’ve rented out a room and got approve 2 months ago.
Working on getting the SUB.
You should get a letter in the mail stating why you got rejected.
KessinFor a Sole Proprietor…select owner. Name of business should be your legal name…
not something made up or random. Only employee is yourself.
Use your ssn.
For income, they are looking at household income.
For revenue, expected business revenue for a year.
I would not future date a business, so use the business start date for when you got the idea and began planning.
As for business type/sub types…that will vary for everyone.
Most often, the rejection seems to come from the first 2…
Name and owner.
You may be able to overcome these by calling in for reconsideration.
Your application will stay active for 30 days, and if you can get it approved, will still count for the elevated bonus.
MeganIf you sold something on Facebook, eBay or Craigslist, Etc that all counts you can use your social security number and sign up that way
