        1: Schedule your shifts ahead of time so you can be guaranteed a driving spot during prime hours.

        This is especially important if you live in a bigger city that has lots of dashers.

        They only allow so many drivers at a time and the best hours tend to fill up fast only leaving the slow periods available.

        2: Don’t be afraid to decline orders. Don’t waste time taking a $5 order for a 10 mile round trip.

        Ideally stick to around .75-$1/mile (round trip) so a delivery going 3 miles one way (6 miles) should be at least $6 payment.

        3: Make sure you have the insurance. It only cost us like an extra $15-$20/month for coverage.

        4. A cheap phone holder for your car is a god send lol

          You may need additional insurance. Not all policies cover accidents when door dashing.

            I work for Uber Eats. I pick when and where I want to deliver to. I’ve also heard that they pay more than Door Dash. But don’t forget to put away an extra 20% from your earning to go towards your tax bill…because you’ll be 1099.
