Hey all!! I’m curious for all the stay at home moms on here what you do for side hustles or income? I’m looking for something I can do from home.

I’m open to anything. I’ve sent a million resumes out, got no where, I babysit but it’s here and there. I’m feeling defeated.

I can’t go back to work for a while due to family reasons. And I feel like door dash and Instacart pay so little it wouldn’t make up for my gas..

Any info, advice is so much appreciated!

I bake sourdough and take it to a local butcher shop for them to sell. I make 2-300 per week doing this. I now sell bread, cookies, sticky buns, and cake. All sourdough. Home processing exemption in NY is all the licensing I need.

If it is available in your area donating plasma is a decent side hustle. First time takes forever, but the bonuses with Grifols are pretty good. After first three or so donations (which give more money to encourage you to come back) it’s about $100 a week if you go the max of twice a week. Sometimes more depending on promotions.

If they have an Amazon warehouse near ,you can be an independent driver for them. They will post how many drivers they need and the length of time (usually 4 hours) and the pay (usually over 100$).

Try pet sitting. I did mostly cats and a couple dogs here and there. Dogs require daily walking, more time, and less money per visit. I charged $18 per visit for cats and most people tipped. I charged $40 per night for overnight visits. I worked days so could only stay overnight.

There’s a huge demand for boarding if you’re able to do that. I charged $50 per day. It adds up and was just extra money for me. After my first two clients that I found on my own, all other clients were referrals. During Thanksgiving and Christmas, I made $1000 per week.

I had consistent work throughout the year and I loved spending time with all of my kitty clients. I no longer do this but I still get occasional calls from people referring me.

Depending on your vehicle, instacart will absolutely be worth it. I make about a 75% profit after expenses on what I make and thats driving an SUV with a V6 in it.

You could take a look at Rat Race Rebellion for WFH jobs like customer service. Do you have a solid resume showcasing your skills and a Linkedin profile? Those things are very important these days as most positions get 100s of applicants. Your information needs to stand out and also be tailored to the job application you’re putting in.

Also look into companies like Lionbridge and Appen Connect to do contract work like search engine evaluation.

Don’t get roped into any multilevel marketing schemes, like Avon, Scentsy, Melaleuca, Pampered Chef, etc. Most people lose money in them.

Look up income disclosure statements, and you’ll see they’re not worth it.

Single mum with little to.no support.

I set up a cleaning company, just a small one and took my 2-year-old with me, was difficult but paid well and only needed to do a few hours a day to make £150/£200 a week. Many of my clients would actually help look after H whilst I cleaned their homes.
