Greeting Muslims for Eid al-Fitr!
The celebration of Eid al-Fitr is one of the holiest celebrations in the Islamic religion. Eid al-Fitr which is the breaking of the fast at the end of Ramadan, the sacred month of fasting for in Islam, usually lasts for three days or even more in some areas. The dates of the holy celebration are usually determined each year by the Islamic lunar calendar in every country.
Eid al -Fitr besides Eid al-Adha are the only celebrations in the Islamic religion that command such widespread worship and celebration.
This huge celebration has a special rituals and different traditions in each country, as well as it does not come on the same day, but instead, it varies from one place to another. However, Muslims still have a lot of things in common in Eid like buying clothes, performing prayers and exchanging gifts.
For Muslims, Eid is not a normal day at all, Eid is a time for joy, a time for togetherness, a time to remember one’s blessings and how he/she must be so grateful for them. It is the time that brings family and friends together to attend morning prayers, share gifts and meals. It is the perfect time which reminds us of the differences that make us who we are. It also reminds us of the values of sharing, compassion, and sympathy that brings us all together.
The values that shows us that we are all brothers and sisters, there are no difference between one person and another despite his/her color, sex, or religion. It is all about sharing love and intimacy among people through exchanging greetings and giving money especially for children as one of Eid’s manifestations.
Therefore, we wish all the Muslims around the world a happy and peaceful Eid and lovely time with their families and beloved ones, a time full of nothing but eternal happiness, love and joy.
To sum up, in this great day may Allah accept everyone’s deeds, forgive their transgressions and ease the suffering of all the people around the globe. May Allah send his love like Sunshine in his warm and gentle ways to fill every corner of everyone’s heart.
May Allah bring everyone joy, happiness, peace and prosperity on this blessed occasion, and grace everyone’s home with warmth and peace, and just make it a blessed and joyful Eid for everyone celebrating Eid al-Fitr.
