Query: My brother refuses to wear pants. He always wears jalabiyas. He says that pants go against “ما لا يشف و لا يصف”. Is he correct? What can I tell him to convince him to wear pants when appropriate? Please note he has some psychological issues and some eccentric ideas. Thank you.

Wearing pants for men is not haram in itself as long as it covers his private parts and doesn’t objectify his body in a sexy way. God knows best.
