Do you think a Robo-Advisor is necessary for a set it and forget it strategy?

I have a Roth IRA and traditional IRA with Vanguard. I set up the Robo-Advisor and have holdings in VTI and VXUS. I’m not willing to dive in and regularly adjust anything, but honestly, do we really need to? If I don’t have the mental energy to spend on tweaking things is a Robo-Advisor important? Is it simple enough to just choose VTI or whatever on your own and not pay the higher fees? I’m >25 years from retirement for reference.

Of course not. Just go with VOO or VTi and chill.

Easiest path is to put it all and DCA in the future with an index fund that mirrors the total market or S&P 500.

              Advisors are never necessary…
