I assumed speeds may actually get faster, but it seems like it’s going the other direction. Not sure if it’s just a coincidence for me personally.
JasonNo, although I’d be prepared to change providers and maybe switch to monthly if you currently pay annually. TMO just wanted to eliminate the margin that Mint had to build into their contract, but they still would rather Mint users switch back. So if paying up for better data service isn’t a priority, I’d stay nimble with your carrier options.

MattBased in Seattle and haven’t noticed a difference. And the acquisition technically has not closed yet, it has just been announced that the two companies have entered into a definitive agreement. The transaction is expected to close later this year per T-Mobile’s website.
AndreaI have mine set to LTE because it was sometimes not getting any data at all at 5G. This was before the merger. Still working the same on LTE as far as I can tell.
