Hubby and I both retired. We have some $$ in Ed Jones and I’m tired of paying their fees. We don’t currently need to use the funds and hopefully won’t ever need to. But I’d like to move them somewhere self managed. We also have Vaguard total bond and total stock funds. The only reason we should needs these are for travel or fun or if my husband passes prior to me and I lose his military retirement.

Any suggestions on where to put it that’s a good mix but fairly conservative since we are already retired.

Hubby is 66 I’m 60. Thanks for any and all suggestions. We currently have a mix of old 401k’s a small Roth and IRA’s. We would be moving about 750k.

I consolidated in Vanguard a few years ago, and am super happy I did. What your allocations are is a bit more complex, but some of the funds in Ed Jones could potentially be transferred over into your VG account.

Give VG a call and they can tell you which ones can.

HYSA sounds more safe. You can as well invest in REITs for passive returns around 5-8% if your invested capital. Sounds more passive..

Figure out your asset allocation first.
