Okay l saved between $200-$400 not to mention the cost of labor. It’s been bugging me for awhile my 2 little fur babies had been scratching at the back door when they want back in. Over a period of time the bottom part of the screen was damaged and the cost for a new door was way out of my budget. So l checked to see and was able to rip out the screen part with very little effort. We never really used the screen part much at all. Problem solved.
AnnieThe screen on windows and doors can be replaced extremely easily by yourself. Just look up a DIY video. All you need is a roll of screen, spline, and a spline tool.
We’ve done all of our windows and doors.
CameronAttach sand paper to the back door will reduce the nail trimming second thought might sound very wierd when they walk over hard wood with only 1 paw filed
JessicaI use the magnetic screens for my pups. And I recently bought an insulated one. They come and go as they please now.
ThelmaI flip the screen.
The top of the door has the screen the bottom half is just the window part. Also having the screen at the top makes it easier to talk to people that come to your door without opening the door.
