Single mom of two almost done with BS3. I eventually want to own my own home but not sure how long it will take to save up for a good down payment.

Also not sure if I’m living in the area that I would want to end up purchasing.

Should I go into BS3B for an indefinite time period while not saving for retirement or kids college fund?

We saved the 20% then started investing while we continued saving. We ended up
Putting about 50% down on our first place. Good luck on your journey to financial peace.

With no definite plans to actually buy a house, I’d move to BS4 and BS5 knowing you can always go back to BS3B when you figure out your plans?

I think the general idea is to only put off BS4 for up to a couple years if you’re doing BS3B, then you need to be contributing to BS4 (BS5 is personal preference).
