I’m hoping to get some ideas on the best way to handle a car lease that is ending in June

My sister has a 2019 Mercedes. The lease is up in June. She has $2000 equity. She looked at the buyout and the interest payments would be too great around $700 a month. She was paying $350 a month.

She is in a lot of debt and doesn’t know what to do. Is there a way to buy and sell it in the same day? She might be able to make $5000 on it.

Then she could take the $5000 and buy a used car to last her for a year or so.

      Any thoughts are so appreciated!

I don’t have personal experience with this but Dave has talked about it many times. Search “Dave Ramsey leased cars” or something like that and previous calls/videos will pop up.

No experience but I’d look up cars on Facebook marketplace. You could favorite the one similar to yours too see how long it takes it to sell and how much they are selling for.
