Sorry about that but sounds like you did the responsible thing. Being an adult is hard some days. Hopefully there will be another one before too long and you will be able to relax and enjoy the freedom.

Too late to second guess a well (imo) thought out decision/action. Don’t drive yourself crazy over it, plan for either the next one or when you plan an event.

You can be sad you missed it and know you did the right thing for your family finances too. Since its now past, use it as motivation to get the debt gone and start saving to be able to go to the next!
