OK I have 3lbs of frozen strawberries and even more frozen blueberries. Please post some recipes that I can make, especially any cake, crumble, muffin, or bread type things I can make from these frozen fruits.

The best smoothies ever with just frozen strawberry, frozen blueberries, apple juice and strawberry yogurt! No ice needed when using the frozen fruit!

Chop them up a bit. Sprinkle a little corn starch on the frozen strawberries. Add some honey or sugar to them if they are tart.

Put in a pie pan. Cover with crisp topping. (Butter, sugar, dry topping- flour, oats, crushed nuts, whatever you have. And bake.

I cook them and reduce down and put on top of my yogurt. I also use for smoothies or add to homemade applesauce.

I just made muffins yesterday with my frozen blueberries. They are sooo good. I did put the blueberries in a dish to thaw in the microwave. If you put the frozen blueberries in muffin or bread mixes, they sink to the bottom.

I also use them in my Greek yogurt.

Have you seen: I need some new breakfast recipes, I prefer to keep breakfast under $5

Chop up and put on top of an almost done cake, toss in when you make muffins (just make sure to coat with corn starch or they will sink to the bottom). Put them in pancake or waffle batter.

Cover with chocolate. Dehydrate and use for oatmeal.

I just made strawberry marshmallows this morning to include is my kids’ valentine packages. They are amazing! I used fresh strawberries, but probably no reason you couldn’t use frozen.

1 cup of strawberries, cover with tequila or rum, blend with a squirt of lemon or lime and a tablespoon of orange juice or Simple syrup if you prefer, serve with a straw.

Blueberry dumplings. I add a cup or so of water. Get them boiling. Use a masher to break them up more. I admit it, I use Bisquick. Mix up Bisquick with a bit of milk and a dash of sugar. I like my biscuit a little sweeter. Drop mix by tablespoons over boiling berries. Cover and simmer for 20 minutes. DO NOT LIFT THE COVER during boiling process. Makes the dumplings hard little blech!

Let cool. Serve with whipped cream.

Don’t miss: I need ideas for a few meatless meals that won’t break the bank and are edible

Consider having a few cups thawing in the fridge every day for snack times.
