I just found out by accident that Amazon Prime is only 6.99 a month if you are on foodstamps or other programs

Also worth noting, that you can use foodstamps for some food on Amazon, and it is actually a search parameter, so if you want to buy nuts, you can search products that will take foodstamps.

It can be cheaper than the store.

They offer a discount to college students also. The parent can just add their students info to get the discount.

I also buy the Walmart membership for $99. a year. Free shipping on everything no minimum. Has saved me a lot of money, I can get same day shipping from the store, and since I don’t drive it’s been a huge plus.

Don’t miss: Just canceled Amazon Prime. Didn’t realize how expensive it is!!

Not related to Amazon but you can use Food Stamps for some gardening things like seeds too. I’m trying to garden to stretch the food budget so I’ve considered going that route with a few dollars.

I’ve never been able to find anything EBT eligible on Amazon to be lower priced than Walmart. If you can though that’s great.

In addition to the Amazon discount (based on income), many states in USA have reduced internet fee programs.

I’ve done it before. I don’t usually buy much food because it’s mostly junk food. Lots and lots of beef jerky and snack foods. I had a hard time finding real food. You can order protein shakes, though. I use them at work and I discovered recently that I couldn’t use food stamps for them at Walmart all of a sudden. They help me a lot at my hot and physical job, so it’s really helpful to get them at Amazon.
