When buying spices always go to Asian/Mexican section. The spices there are always much cheaper than the regular spice section.
KendraIf you have an Asian, Latino, or Indian market near you is even cheaper to buy from there.
SarahIf you have a Asian or Hispanic market near you its so much cheaper as well! Same with any food too. Fish is cheap at Asian markets
AntoniaIf you shop at Winco go to the bulk spices section.
MariaShopping at ethnic markets is even better. The produce at the Asian market near me is very good, extra fresh, and a fraction of the price.
They also have kitchen gadgets and dinnerware really cheap.
Suggested: Remember when quick lunch out was $5? I need to prep my meals better. Ideas?
ClaryThanks for the reminder. I seem to only remember that times when I am Not buying spices!
StephanieI am only buying enough herbs and spices to fit my bottles now. I bought such a small amount of oregano it wouldn’t register so she smiled and said take it.I bought other items but I thought that was funny.
YvetteGo to an Indian or Mexican or Asian grocery store, which is even better. Or if there isn’t any in your area, search in bulk section.
JudyIf you use a lot of a particular spice, buying it in bulk sizes may be the best for your money.
