I go through so many little jars but hate throwing these out. How do you re-use your jars?

And any tips on getting rid of the labels (esp for someone with little patience?

bacon grease storage, homemade body scrubs for gifts melt leftover candle wax that won’t burn over the stove and pour them into the small ones and gift.

Make a coffee scrub for exfoilating or pack some crisco in as hand cream nice little gift. If you can’t get the labels off just paint over them or put a larger sticker -label.

Small jars are good for canned stuff like tomato paste or curry paste. The large sauce jars I usually use as cups, especially for homemade iced lattes!

I use them for salsa, to store fresh sea salt, cashews, dressing, pre prepped veggies for snacking, etc. The small ones are great to put snacks in and throw in your purse.

I soak them to get the labels off and use them to bring fresh flowers to people at work.

To remove labels soak them in hot water then to remove the glue make a mixture of equal amounts of vegetable oil and baking soda. Let set for a while then scrub off. You might have to do it more than once.

I reuse glass jars for dehydrated veggies, small amounts of chocolate chips, etc. Larger jars for raisins/craisins. crackers, etc.

I use them for excess grease. When full throw in the trash.

Rub the labels with cooking oil leave to absorb, then wash in hot soapy water.

I store everything I can in glass. Dried pantry goods; if weevil have got into them, the glass isolates the infestation, and can ve thrown out. Keeps salt and sugar dry. Made a matching set for tea and coffee, plus decaff. versions of both, rooibos tea, xylitol, white and brown sugar. I used blackboard labels from our version of $ store, and wrote on with whiteout pen.
