.. Took public transportation to the fireworks yesterday and bought a picnic. Uber back home. Today walked to the local park free food and water slides. They wore clothes they already had. So many holidays there’s some red or blue in there.

I went on my balcony and got a 3 hour panoramic show (and it’s still going). It’s actually getting really annoying at this point lol.

Last night when we were waiting to watch another town’s fireworks (for free and not my tax dollars) a home adjacent to the fireworks site was setting off easily hundreds -if not thousands- of dollars of their own fireworks at their residence. It killed me!

They literally had the best seat (in their own house) to see these town fireworks.

But to each his own. If it brings that person joy, I’m happy for them.
